Features / Recurring spend

Catch a subscription the moment you sign up for it.

The Cashrou extension for Chrome recognises a checkout or a renewal page and offers to add it, with the merchant, amount and cadence already filled in.

Chrome — live

The reason your subscription list is wrong is that nobody opens a finance app while buying something. The extension is there instead.

Reads the checkout

Merchant, price and billing cadence are pulled from the page you are already looking at. One click to save.

Catches renewals too

A renewal confirmation or a price-change notice on screen is offered as an update to the subscription you already have.

Nothing leaves the page uninvited

The extension reads the page you are on to fill the form. It does not upload browsing history and it does not run on pages where there is nothing to add.

Already in your plan

Saved from the browser, it appears in the app immediately and is picked up by the next payday routine.

HOW IT WORKS

What it does, in order.

The extension is quiet until there is genuinely something to record.

01 Install and sign in once The extension uses the same account as the web app.
02 Shop as normal It stays dormant on ordinary pages. The icon only wakes when it sees a recurring charge.
03 Confirm the details A small panel shows what it found. Correct anything, choose a category, save.
04 Forget about it The charge is in your subscription list and inside your Safe to Use figure from that moment.

The specifics

The extension is on the Chrome Web Store. Everything it captures can also be added by hand in the web app today.
