Why twenty six blocks and not twelve rows
Two blocks a year will look almost empty on the bills side, because your monthly bills are covered by the other two paychecks that month. A monthly template hides that third paycheck inside a row, which is how the extra money quietly disappears.
The PDF explains those two blocks on the sheet itself rather than only here, because a file that gets printed and shared travels away from the page it came from.
Everything else is the same block: start, income, bills by date, what is left, and where it goes.
