Erasing your financial data
Open Settings
Open Cashrou and select the Settings tab.
Go to Data
Find the Data section in Settings.
Select Erase all data
Confirm the erase action. This clears your Cashrou records from the account, on every device signed into it, and resets onboarding. It does not delete the account itself.
Deleting the app
Deleting Cashrou from a device removes the copy held on that device. It does not delete your account or the records in it, because those are what your other devices and the web app sign in to.
What erasing removes
- Profile and onboarding information.
- Accounts, balances and net-worth snapshots.
- Income, bills, pay schedules, allocations and payment status.
- Debt, goals, subscriptions, business entries and recurring cash-flow items.
- Preferences and language settings.
Support communications
Information you separately sent us by email is not stored inside the app and is not removed by the in-app erase. To delete your account itself, and every financial record attached to it, email us from the address you signed up with and we will remove it within 30 days.
What deleting the account removes
Everything above, plus the account: your name, your email address and every record held against it. The privacy policy sets out what is stored and who processes it.
